This lovely villa overlooks Livadia Bay, which itself is backed by the dramatic mountains of the southwest. The views out to sea are splendid, as are the sunsets, possibly some of the most spectacular in Crete. Quiet and traditional, the surrounding fields and sparsely-populated villages reflect the unspoilt, rather wild landscape that guarantees a feeling of remoteness. The village of Livadia has a scattering of houses, a kafenion and little else. Families have lived there for generations and enjoy a lifestyle unchanged for centuries.
One of two adjacent villas, Livadia Sea View is split over two levels with two bedrooms, separate bathroom, kitchen and lounge-dining room, all comfortably furnished. The sunloungers surrounding the private pool are perfect for relaxing in the warmth of the sun and shade is offered by the pergola and parasols. The sea is a 10 minute walk away, an easy stroll to the rocky shoreline where you can explore the marine life in the rock pools. Another beach well worth a visit is at the Elafonisi Lagoon, where the water shelves gently out at knee level towards the sand dunes of the Elafonisi Islet.
