An introduction to Afitis Hotel
Located in the village of Afitos, the Afitis Hotel is right on the beach, so you can take a stroll along the golden sand anytime night or day. If you are not a fan of the beach, there are beautiful views of the gardens from the whirlpool bath and swimming pool. Once you have found your perfect spot, stretch out on a sunbed and let the waiters bring you all the refreshments you need, from an ice cold cocktail to a lunchtime snack. Due to the number of steps this hotel may not be suitable for the less mobile.
Once you leave the hotel and climb some stone steps, you will find yourself in an archeolgists dream. It is like travelling back in time when you lay eyes on the temple of Ammon Zeus, Dionysos, the Byzantine church and the cobbled streets. Among all this history are hidden shops and restaurants, it will leave you in awe and that is before you have seen the views of Sithonia and Mount Athos.

Are you guys for real - considering the prices you paid, the location of the Afitis and the pool and restaurant is superb - really was a little bit of paradise - just heaven, so relaxing and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food excellent... more on this review
